Founded in 2009, Québec’s National Shrines was created to bring Québec’s highly sacred sites and tourist regions together to promote the spiritual richness and heritage of these jewels beyond the province’s borders.
Québec’s National Shrines’ mission is to foster the development of religious and spiritual tourism with clienteles visiting from outside Québec. Our organization also positions itself as a reference and ambassador on religious and spiritual tourism, speaking on behalf of Québec’s tourism industry.
With the financial support from its partners, namely the Ministère du Tourisme du Québec and Economic Development Canada, Québec’s National Shrines implements a commercialization plan to increase the visibility and visits of sacred sites and their tourist regions.
The organization partakes in several initiatives, including tourism tradeshows, religious events, advertising, familiarization tours, and public relations—all of which allow people to discover our treasures, which are unique in North America.
